Our 2021 New Year’s Resolutions

Happy New Year! We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. This year our team
shares our 2021 new year resolutions. As we all know, 2020 was a year quite different from
the rest and it changed the way we live our daily lives, work, socialize and even think about
the world. Our team has come up with small yet impactful resolutions. Keep reading to see
what team Noho is hoping for this year.

Take care of myself

My resolution this year is to focus on me and take care of myself- I spent much of 2020
taking care of my family and others around me- it left me rundown and my own health and
happiness was low on my priority list. That all changes this year.
Start every day with a healthy breakfast
I skipped breakfast most of last year. The days I slow down in the mornings and make myself
a healthy breakfast I feel so much happier. I am determined to make 2021 the year of a
hearty, healthy breakfast, so that I can feel stronger and have more energy throughout my
day and during workouts.

Cut down on plastic

Back in 2019 cutting down on plastic was a priority for most people, including myself. Once
the pandemic hit, shopping and spending habits changed- staying home and opting for
online groceries reduced the likelihood of using reusable bags and opting for takeout dine in
options, has caused eco-friendly goals to go out the window. As life slowly returns back to
normal, so must our habits on cutting down on plastic.

Discover new artists

Who else has a habit of listening to the same 5 songs on repeat, by the same few artists –
this goes on for weeks and months on end? I want to make a conscious effort this year to
discover different artists that I wouldn’t otherwise listen to. 2021 is going to be the year
that I search for new and old music, that’s just waiting to be found.

Improve work/life balance

My new year’s resolution for 2021 is to try and get better at work life balance. 2020 was an
unusual year of people struggling and working from home. It became hard to draw a line on
when work needs to stop and spending time just with yourself or family starts. How will I
achieve this goal of better work life balance? Well, I have a plan. I am putting together a
calendar of how to plan more efficient time management, setting alarms for when to end
workdays and most importantly not feeling guilty for over working.
